Instructions for use – Van Doorn Exclusief Leather Paint
Preparation:
Thoroughly clean and degrease the leather with a professional leather cleaner.
Ensure the surface is completely dry and dust-free.
For optimal results, lightly sand the leather with a fine sanding pad.
Colour selection and preparation:
Shake the bottle well before use to fully mix the pigments.
Test the colour beforehand on an inconspicuous piece of leather.
Application:
Apply the leather paint thinly and evenly with a soft sponge, brush, or (professional) spray gun.
Work in thin layers for even coverage; avoid overly thick layers.
Intermediate layers and coverage:
Allow each coat to dry for approx. 20–30 minutes before applying the next coat.
Repeat until the desired coverage is achieved.
Finishing:
Allow the paint to dry completely (at least 24 hours).
For extra protection and appearance, finish the surface with Van Doorn Exclusief Topcoat (Matte, Silk Gloss, or High Gloss).
